ACRE Development Corp. is an evolution of the President and Founders’ 25 years of experience in developing commercial real estate as an owner/operator in the retail and service industries.  The ability to view development opportunities and plan development projects from an experienced operator’s perspective, together with market knowledge, has allowed us to build relationships with brands as corporate operators and their franchisees. We specialize in net lease commercial real estate, consisting of new ground up development and redevelopment or backfilling existing buildings with National and Regional brands as long term tenants, with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail.

Mark Baker

Mark Baker founded ACRE Development Corp. to be the premiere real estate partner for retail and QSR tenants in Atlantic Canada. Mark is President of Real Estate Development and is hands on with all business operations on every project, from the initial inquiry to delivery of the space and opening day. Prior to founding ACRE Development Corp., he was owner/operator of numerous businesses with core business being retail petroleum and convenience store/car wash operations with QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) attached. As an operator, he and his team were two time President’s Award winners with Petro-Canada and received a Business Excellence Award  from the Chamber Of Commerce. He is a former volunteer board member of CBDC (Community Business Development Corporation) and Three Rivers, PEI Planning Board. Currently, he is a member of the Three Rivers Economic Development Committee.
